The United States District Court for the District of Colorado reviewed and approved revisions to its Local Rules which become effective December 1, 2014. The Advisory Committee on the Local Rules of Practice and Procedure continues its comprehensive review of the local rules. In the 2014 rules cycle the Committee focused on the restyling of the local criminal rules, updating the rules applicable to members of the bar, and converting pilot programs to local rules.

All members of the bar and the public are advised that the Advisory Committee will conduct a community forum at the Alfred A. Arraj U.S. District Courthouse sometime in January, 2015, the date to be determined. The Advisory Committee looks forward to providing an opportunity at the forum to answer inquiries about the recent rule revisions.

The amendments can be found by visiting the link below, in final form, as well as the redline/strikeout version.
