The District of Colorado is pleased to announce that a new biennial fee collection tool will be launched soon. This new approach will make it far easier for attorneys to pay the biennial fee through a personalized link that will be emailed to each individual attorney – simply click and pay. Additionally, non-compliant attorneys will no longer be removed from the court's attorney roll; instead, their e-filing privileges will be terminated and a late fee applied to their account. Upon payment of the late fee and the outstanding biennial fee, the attorney's e-filing privileges will be restored automatically.
The 2026 Biennial Fee collection period will still open on October 1, 2026, but further details are forthcoming.
