Electronic Case Filing will begin on criminal cases on December 5, 2005.

The ECF system allows registered users to file and receive electronic notice of filed documents electronically over the Internet from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The PACER system allows registered users to access electronic versions of filed court documents in real time over the Internet anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Participating in the Electronic Document System is a two step process. To view electronic documents, a user must register and receive a login from the PACER Service Center.
